Chun glazes are opalescent high fire glazes, and are typically light blue. Their history can be traced back to the Song dynasty in China (960-1279 AD). Light refracts off the glaze surface giving an optical effect.
The clay body of this cup is dark brown and textured. Andrei has hand drawn two fish on the cup with white glaze, the underside also has a little flower drawn on.
