Clay and Graze
Three-hour ceramic taster classes
Welcome to Feldmark Pottery, nestled among snow gums and black wattles just 10 minutes from Jindabyne, NSW. Feldmark is quite possibly Australia’s highest altitude pottery. We are offering a three-hour introduction to using the pottery wheel, with workshops taking place on weekends throughout the year. The sessions, Clay and Graze, combine pottery and great local food in a social and relaxed environment. You’ll make a vessel, have a laugh, and taste the best of the region’s produce.
Please book directly from the selection of sessions below.
TERM 4 UPDATE
TERM 4 UPDATE
Thank you for your interest in Term classes.
Pottery classes are offered on a term basis. Classes are eight weeks in duration and are run on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights 6pm-8:30pm, as well as on Saturday mornings at 9am-11:30am.
Please note, due to rising costs for firing and clay, the cost of the course is $520 now. All materials (clay, glazes, tools) are provided, and so are kiln firings. There is a small fee per kilogram of fired clay once a threshold is reached. Each term the classes work on two major projects - for instance bowls, jugs, mugs, or for beginners, vessels.
No previous pottery experience is necessary, and we can cater to all skill levels.
Sessions are conducted by Andrei Davidoff who has many years of experience as an instructor (Cone 11, Melbourne; RMIT University, and various community pottery schools).
Returning students are given priority in placements.
